Master: 00 - Master Index
1. Prompt spine (human, ordered)
One long verbal dump with nested asks (single turn in export):
- End of Cursor subscription month. Forget current usage. Should the next month renew, given that a lot can already be done with lighter setups?
- Concrete friction: slow information retrieval, web check loops, step-by-step tech Q&A. Time feels misallocated.
- Hypothesis forming in real time: either change the workflow, or plan outside Cursor and hand Cursor only implementation.
- Primary skill claim: sharpest work is verbal, real-time problem solving and system seeking. Current flow is mostly setup / tech detail Q&A, which does not use that gear.
- Linear agent problem: step-by-step instructions make the human sit idle. Neither Cursor power nor human cognition is maxed.
- Hard ask for structure, not vibes: what workflow, what assets to develop while working with Cursor, what tools to build.
- Monetizable / compounding layer: assets, thinking tools, social apps that maximize cognition, problem solving, Cursor, and brainstorming sessions that can live outside Cursor.
- Closing constraint: do not stay in subscription collection mode; figure the workflow so Cursor becomes a real lever, with context about thinking style that Cursor itself does not hold.
2. Start state
Not “I want a productivity app.”
Not “teach me Cursor tips.”
Start state is renewal anxiety plus workflow diagnosis:
- Money and attention are about to recommit to a coding IDE subscription.
- The felt bottleneck is waiting: retrieval, tech clarification, linear turn-taking.
- A sharper self-diagnosis is already present: the best cognition is speech-first discovery, and the current loop starves it.
- Director impulse is already active: “tell me different ways we can work together” before dumping a full personal thesis.
Emotional texture: serious, slightly irritated at friction, systems-seeking, allergic to vague idea lists.
3. Transitions and impulses
P1: Subscription / usage doubt → workflow redesign
- Impulses: Is Cursor underused, or misused? Is renewal justified? Is the real fix outside the IDE?
- Move: Friction list (retrieval latency, step-by-step setup talk) becomes a systems question, not a product complaint.
P2: “My primary skills are verbal” → mode mismatch
- Impulses: This is not a tooling gap, it is a cognition placement error. Tech Q&A loops feel like setup tax on the wrong skill.
- Move: Problem reframes from “make Cursor faster” to “stop thinking inside the implementation engine.”
P3: Linear agents + idle waiting → three-environment demand
- Impulses: Reject single-room workflow. Want parallel cognition while something else builds. Hate sitting as a human progress bar.
- Move: Opens space for Talk / Architect / Execution as separate brains.
P4: Assets, tools, monetizable stack → conversation as factory
- Impulses: Conversations should mint durable products, not evaporate into chat history. Want concrete asset taxonomy and build priorities.
- Move: Assets list + Cursor build list + forbid list + daily loop become the payload.
P5: Flagship framing → Thinking OS, not generic productivity
- Impulses: One coherent product thesis over scattered tools. Dialogue-native knowledge system. Compounding modules under a voice-first OS.
- Move: Closes on Voice-First Thinking OS as the 6 to 12 month flagship.
4. Inner state arc
| Stage | State |
|---|---|
| Start | Subscription edge + “this is too slow” |
| Shift 1 | Admission that primary power is verbal real-time solving |
| Shift 2 | Anger at linear idle loops; demand for parallel workflow |
| Peak | Concrete three-brain split + asset taxonomy + what Cursor must / must not do |
| End hunt | One flagship: Thinking OS for dialogue-native thinkers, with clean handoff into coding agents |
Hunted outcome: a workflow architecture that protects speech-first discovery, turns talk into structured assets, and reduces Cursor to high-certainty execution.
5. Speech habits (this source only)
- Long spoken runs that restate the same problem from cost, skill, and agent-linearity angles before landing the ask.
- Practical ROI pressure (“another subscription”) fused with systems redesign language.
- Explicit anti-vagueness: “don’t give me vague ideas,” “concrete proper structured answer,” “serious question.”
- Contrast language: primary skills vs setup tax; maximize cognition vs sit idle; plan outside then implement inside.
- Lists of desired outputs: workflow, assets, tools, thinking tools, social apps, monetizable pieces.
- “Before I share that” pattern: wants external structure first, then will overlay own thesis.
- No playful banter in the human turn; tone is operational and slightly impatient.
6. Final article brief (for write-as-Nitish)
- Mode: Authority article (from Index)
- Thesis spine: Talk brain → Architect brain → Execution brain; Cursor almost never hosts open exploration
- Opening: From end-of-month renewal doubt + waiting tax, not from a product pitch
- Keep: three brains, forbid list for Cursor, conversation assets, daily parallel loop, Voice-First Thinking OS flagship
- Omit: image attachment noise; pure subscription bookkeeping; generic “AI will change everything” filler
- Voice: Nitish explaining the doubt after the path; concrete, spoken-clear, no stock openers, no em/en dashes
